Recently, we received a disturbing email from one of our US-based subscribers mentioning that he is facing termination from his job if he fails to comply with the company’s brand new policy — mandatory COVID vaccination.
We firmly believe that the decision to receive the vaccine should only depend on you and your physician.
We know, however, that it’s not what is happening in the real world.
More and more companies are mandating COVID vaccination in the workplace, and this trend especially accelerated after Pfizer received full approval for their vaccine from the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).
And, of course, President Biden’s new sweeping rules for employers with over 100 employees have put this trend in overdrive.
A similar trend can be observed in universities, with over 500 institutions now demanding that students get vaccinated before allowing them into classes.
Does it mean you will inevitably have to get the jab now?
Once again, it is not our place to tell anyone to get the vaccine or not -- and we believe it shouldn’t be the employer’s decision to make, either.
It is our job, however, to provide our readers with options. Therefore, we decided to dig deeper into the laws and regulations of the United States concerning vaccination mandates.
As it turns out, there are options available for those opposing vaccination. Read this Monthly Letter to learn what options you still have today if you decide not to vaccinate.
P.S. If you have been fired from your job because of the vaccine mandates, send us your resume by writing to [email protected]. We are in contact with many businesses in different industries that are always looking to hire talented individuals.
