In this month’s letter, we’re rolling out our global Cost of Living Calculator.
Our analysis spans 302 cities in 128 countries, covering every continent except Antarctica.
All prices are quoted in US dollars, so you can easily compare how much you currently spend with how much, on average, you’d spend for a comfortable lifestyle abroad. (We define “comfortable lifestyle” in our methodology section.)
And since everyone’s definition of a “comfortable lifestyle” differs, we added some customization so the entire data table – for all 302 cities – will adjust accordingly, based on your average spending.
We realize that moving abroad is a big step, and we want to help you prepare. But even if you’re not ready for a foreign residency, our Cost of Living Calculator can be a useful tool for planning a trip overseas. And we’ll regularly update it, so the price data will be accurate.
